So tonight is the last night for “All Shook Up!” I couldn’t be prouder of our cast and crew for what they have accomplished. To those who came to see it and loved it along with us – thank you from the depths of our hearts for your support both for us and local, community theatre at its best. For those who wanted to come but couldn’t make it – we love you anyway and feel sad for you that you missed such a fun, energetic and awesome show! And for those who unfortunately listened to the ugly and untrue rumors that plagued our show from the start and didn’t come out of fear or judgment or ignorance – that’s just too bad. Like my favorite song from act 2 says…”There must be peace and understanding sometime.
Strong winds of promise that will blow away the doubt and fear. If I can dream of a warmer sun where hope keeps shining on everyone
Tell me why, oh why, oh why won’t that sun appear.” I dream of a day when the ugliness of judgment and gossip will give way to love and joy. We found a little of that this past 10 days! And our audience found it too.
Thank you! Thank you very much! ❤ –Michelle Dick
